IFAPA Legislative Breakfast

IFAPA will be hosting our 2012 Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, February 16 at the Iowa State Capitol Building in Des Moines from 7am to 9am. Foster, adoptive and kinship families will have the opportunity to meet with legislators from their area and discuss issues important to them. Iowa’s foster, adoptive and kinship families are improving the child welfare and child protective system by advocating for positive change. In these tough financial times it is imperative that IFAPA members keep their legislators informed on the issues facing children in their care. IFAPA's Stride for Foster Care Walk Fundraiser
Saturday, May 5th, 2012 - West Des Moines, IA
IFAPA will be hosting our 2012 Stride for Foster Care Walk on Saturday, May 5th at Raccoon River Park (2500 Grand Ave - West Des Moines, IA). Check-In begins at 10:30am and the Walk will start at 11am.
