IFAPA's annual appreciation event for
foster, adoptive and kinship families will be held at
Adventureland Park in Altoona on Saturday, September 12.
All foster, adoptive and kinship families can buy
Adventureland tickets (in advance) at special discounted
prices and enjoy a day of fun. You can find the
Adventureland Ticket Order form in the July issue of the
IFAPA News and Views newsletter. Watch your mailbox
for it to arrive around July 1st.

Appreciation Picnic
Foster
families from Buchanan, Fayette
and Delaware counties are
invited to the 5th annual
appreciation picnic. The
picnic will be at the Oelwein
city park from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
DHS will provide the main
course, drinks and table
service. Families are
asked to bring a side dish or
dessert to share. RSVP by

Foster
families from the Sioux City
area are invited to attend a
tailgate dinner prior to the
July 24th Sioux City Explorers
game. The meal will begin
at 5:30pm and the game starts at
7:05pm at the Explorers Ballpark
in Sioux City. Follow the
Iowa KidsNet signs in the
parking lot. There are
just a few tickets left for the
game, the first to RSVP will
receive those tickets.
