IFAPA Publication Request

IFAPA publishes a variety of resource materials for foster, adoptive and kinship parents in Iowa. Below is a list of free publications available only to Iowa families. Please select the publications you would like to receive and IFAPA will mail those to you.

If you are a family or social worker that lives out of state, please feel free to download the PDF versions of our publications and print for free. If you would like IFAPA to mail all of our publications listed below, please send a $25 check to IFAPA at 6864 NE 14th Street, Suite 5 - Ankeny, IA 50023.

If you are an Iowa social worker who works directly with foster, adoptive and kinship families and would like to request a publication, please e-mail Crystal Thomason at cthomason@ifapa.org.

* IFAPA will keep the names and contact info of the families who are not licensed yet but are currently attending PS-MAPP classes or are completing the homestudy process. Once you become licensed and IFAPA receives your information from HHS (usually 1-2 months after you're licensed) you will begin to receive information from IFAPA.
