Current Training Schedule
Foster, adoptive and kinship parents are welcome to attend any of our trainings. Even if you adopted internationally, privately or from another state, all Iowa adoptive parents are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend our trainings (with the exception of our Spring Conference and CPR & First Aid classes). All of our trainings are approved for foster parent credit.
How to Register
Parents:
Parents can sign up for a class by completing our TRAINING REGISTRATION FORM or by calling our office at 800-277-8145 ext. 1. IFAPA will follow-up within two business days to confirm your enrollment in the class.
Social Workers:
Some classes have also been approved for Social Worker CEUs.
VIEW CLASSES APPROVED FOR SOCIAL WORKER CEUS.
Social workers can register for a class by mailing in our CEU REGISTRATION FORM with their payment, or they can pay online with a credit card. Social Worker CEUs are $20 per day, per participant.
